Jesus taught us to pray “Thy kingdom come”, and he meant it. It’s been coming since that day. Some of the values of his kingdom: equality, reconciliation, generosity. These were not highly regarded before Jesus came along.  – Harry

Jesus told a parable about a farmer who sows seeds. When asked, he explained that he’s the farmer and the seed is the Word of God. His word has been sown into hearts and, on a larger scale, into society, where it has gradually brought about immense change. The scripture here is from the ‘Sermon on the Plain’ in the gospel of Luke. It has changed the world – and many hearts.  – Harry

Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ is part of the ‘body of Christ’ on earth. As our body has a lot of different parts and they all need each other, so Christ’s body needs all its parts – namely, each one of us.  – Harry

Just as we activate computers and credit cards, God ‘activates’ spiritual gifts in Christ’s followers. They are given to enable us to serve one another. Some of these gifts are listed in I Corinthians 12, where Paul emphasizes that they are distributed and inspired by the Holy Spirit. They are essential for healthy communities of faith.  – Harry
