Tuesday, October 3: *NOTE NEW DATE* Meeting of the Official Board of the Haliburton Pastoral Charge at 2 p.m. at Haliburton UC. In person or via Zoom by video or phone. Board members, please attend! The original meeting in September had to be cancelled due to the lack of a quorum.

Sunday, October 8: Thanksgiving Communion Service. If you’re attending online, you can join us by having bread and wine or juice on hand.

Saturday, October 14: Fall Prayer Walk from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.. Meet at Head Lake Beach in Haliburton. All ages are welcome.  Organized by Youth Unlimited. For more information email Kyle by clicking HERE or text or call 306-690-6122.

Current Events and Notices

Monthly mission: Our mission for September is Haliburton 4Cs. For details and to learn how to donate, visit the Monthly Missions page on the HUC website.

Sundays: Service in church and online via livestream on YouTube at 11:15 a.m.

Tuesdays: Minds in Motion from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Haliburton UC. An Alzheimer’s Society program designed to provide physical activity and mental and social stimulation. $30/couple for 8 weeks. Call Jennifer at 705-748-5131 x225.

Tuesdays: Ecumenical Bible Study. The group is on summer break.

Wednesdays: Women to Women Bible Study: The group plans to return to meetings beginning September 27. Details to come.

Sunday School: A selection of lessons and interactive materials is posted on the Sunday School web page for downloading for use at home to encourage kids in their faith. Classes are on hiatus.
