Empty Bowls Fundraiser for SIRCH Community kitchen, 4Cs Food Bank and Fuel for Warmth.at the Haliburton Legion. Doors open at 4:00 p.m., soup served at 5:00 p.m. Enjoy a variety of hot soups and take home a handmade bowl. Silent auction, door prizes and live music. Tickets are $35.00 cash at the Legion Club Room and $35.00 plus service fee at haliburtonlegion.com. Soups, bowls and music donated by local restaurants, potters and artists.
Fall Fundraiser Concert featuring Rhythm and Grace at 7:00 p.m. at Lakeside Church in Haliburton. Free admission. An offering will be taken. Donations will be receipted. Proceeds to the Pregnancy Care & Family Support Centre. For more information call 705-457-4673.

Women to Women Bible Study resumes for the fall. Meetings are held at 3:00 p.m. via Zoom on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month. For details call 705-457-7282.

Contemporary Service and Pot Luck Lunch at Haliburton UC. The lunch follows the 11:15 a.m. service.

Tax receipts for donations: Thank you for giving toward the ministry of Haliburton United Church. To ensure you receive a tax receipt for your giving each year, please remember to include your full mailing address with your FIRST donation so we can properly establish a receipt file for you. If you have not yet provided your address, please contact the church office at 705-457-1891 as soon as possible. Tax receipts are issued in the new year.
The HUC monthly mission for September is Haliburton 4Cs (Christian Community Concern Centre). For details and to learn how to donate, visit the Monthly Missions page.
Sundays: Service in church and online via live stream on YouTube at 11:15 a.m.
Sunday School: Children’s Service (aka Sunday School): Services are held on the first Sunday of the month at 9 a.m. at Haliburton United Church. For more information call the church office at 705-457-1891. Also, a selection of lessons and interactive materials is posted on the Sunday School web page for downloading for use at home to encourage kids in their faith.
Tuesdays: Minds in Motion from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Haliburton UC. This Alzheimer’s Society program designed to provide physical activity and mental and social stimulation. $30/couple for 8 weeks. Call Jennifer at 705-748-5131 x225.
Tuesdays: The Ecumenical Bible Study group is on break for the summer.
