There is an 100th anniversary service for the Lochlin United Church along with the United Church of Canada, it takes place on July 13 at the Lochlin Community Centre. There is no church in Haliburton that day. . The Sizzlin’ summer service takes place on August 3rd at Head Lake Park at 10:30 AM. Bring your chair, hat, water, and sunscreen. In case of rain it will be at Lakeside Baptist Church. There is a knitting group on the first Tuesday of the month at Haliburton United Church from 10 AM to 1 PM it’s a time for knitting and socializing. On the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month, the woman to woman Bible study takes place at 3 PM via Zoom, call 705-457-7282 for details.
