Friday, September 2: A Celebration of Life for John Peel will be held at Killara Station, 5205 Gelert Road in Minden Hills. Gathering will begin at 4 p.m. and finger food will be served. The celebration will begin at about 5 p.m. Please bring along a written story to share or to leave in the memory book. Chairs will be provided but you may want to bring one to be sure of a seat.

Celebration of Life: A Celebration of Life for Anna Marion Sedgwick of Gelert was held August 10 at Lochlin United Church. Marion died April 13 at the age of 90. The celebration was recorded by the Gordon A. Monk Funeral Home and can be watched by going to our YouTube channel.

Online Scripture Study: This ecumenical study group held Tuesdays is on summer vacation. Meetings will resume in mid-September.

Women to Women Bible Study: This group held Wednesdays is on summer vacation.

Minds in Motion at Haliburton UC is now on summer vacation. This Alzheimer’s Society program will return in September.

Virtual Sunday School is on hiatus. Previous lesson materials and the Sunday School songs are posted on the Services page for downloading/singalongs.
