May is Manse Month for the Haliburton Pastoral Charge. The Manse is also Haliburton United Church’s monthly mission for May. The upkeep of the manse is the responsibility of all churches in the charge, and each year church participants are asked to prayerfully consider contributing to the manse account to support repairs. Current projects are replacement of the oil tank (within two months, $4,000) and window replacements (TBD).
Until June 18: Formula for Success Baby Bottle Campaign. This annual fundraiser for the Pregnancy Care and Family Support Centre runs until Father’s Day. The PCFSC is 100% donor-supported and has seen that “Your $$ + PCFSC = Changed Lives.” To donate you can pick up a baby bottle at Haliburton UC and fill it or use cheque or EFT (electronic funds transfer) or use your credit card online via the PCFSC website at haliburtonpregnancycentre.ca. Tax receipts are issued.
